November is an exciting month for us on campus! This is the time of year when we begin talking to students and challenging them to consider taking the next step in their faith by going to our winter conference called TCX (Twin Cities Experience) and also on a Campus Crusade for Christ Summer Project! The Lord is already raising up some future leaders at SCSU, as four students we have talked with have already begun the application for a 2011 Summer Project.

This is why: “Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’” Matthew 28:18-20

Not only have our students been challenged to GO, but we have as well. A few weeks ago we were asked to consider directing the 2011 Australia Summer Project. After much prayer and consideration, we have accepted the challenge!

So from approximately the end of May to the beginning of July we will be directing a team of students and staff to a college campus in Brisbane, Australia and to do a similar type of ministry that we did last summer in the Middle East. You will be hearing more in the near future about why Australia, but in the meantime please watch this video to catch a glimpse of the spiritual climate on their college campuses.

We are trusting God for 25 mid-MN students to go on a Summer Project this upcoming summer and 116 mid-MN students to attend TCX 2010! Please pray with us!
